The Olive Girl Shipping Promise
Every Olive Girl piece begins its journey in our artisan workshops in China — where silk was first woven, embroidery was perfected, and the art of hanfu was born over 5,000 years of civilization. We treat the shipping process with the same care and intention we put into every stitch — because your experience doesn't end at checkout. It ends when you open the box.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order leaves our workshops.

Delivery estimates begin from the date of shipment, not the date of order. All timeframes are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, carrier schedules, or peak seasons.
Order Tracking
Every order ships with full tracking. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a direct link to monitor your shipment in real time.
If your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 consecutive business days, please contact us at support@olivegirlstore.com — we will investigate immediately.

Your Olive Girl piece travels directly from our artisan workshops in China to your door. We do not use local warehouses or fulfillment shortcuts — because doing so would compromise the authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship that define every piece we create.
What you are waiting for is worth it.
The extra days in transit are days your garment spent being hand-finished by people who have dedicated their lives to preserving China's silk, embroidery, and hanfu traditions. That is not a delay — that is the process.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Olive Girl ships internationally from China. Your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees imposed by your country's customs authority upon arrival.
- These charges are not included in your order total
- They are the sole responsibility of the customer
- We provide complete and accurate customs documentation on every shipment to minimize delays
- Customs processing times vary by country and are outside our control
EU customers: VAT and import duties may apply on orders above your country's de minimis threshold. UK customers: Import VAT and customs duties may apply on orders above £135.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
If your order has not arrived within 10 business days of the estimated delivery date, please contact us. We will open a carrier investigation immediately, provide a full update within 48 hours, and ensure every order reaches a fair resolution.
You will not be left without an answer. We stand behind every order we ship.
Refused & Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is refused at customs due to unpaid duties, or returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, the original shipping cost is non-refundable. Re-shipping fees will apply.
